Google Mapping Tools
The following map files are
downloadable maps that work with Google Earth. After you have downloaded the
files, all you need to do is click on them and they will activate Google
Earth. If you have not already
installed Google Earth, you can download it at the following link: http://www.google.com/intl/en/earth/index.html

Montana Counties: This map overlay will show all the
counties in Montana. When you click

Flathead County City
Limits: This overlay shows the
city limits of Kalispell, Whitefish and Columbia Falls. |

Flathead County Section Lines: This map overlay has all of the section lines in Flathead County. Once loaded, just click on the section for the data about that section. Conservation Easements in
Montana: This map overlay will
show the location and provide the data on all conservation easements in

Flathead County Road: The roads map is a relatively large
file that will need to be unzipped before it can be used. Once installed as a
map overlay, it will give you most of the data related to any section of road
that you click on. (I recommend that the zip file be downloaded before you
